Privacy Policy

Tweetpilot is built around your own browser session, so it collects less than most tools. Here is exactly what that means.

Last updated May 14, 2026

Overview

This policy explains what information Tweetpilot collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers the Tweetpilot website, browser extension, and dashboard. By using Tweetpilot you agree to this policy.

Information you give us

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address.

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password, or your basic profile details if you choose to sign in with Google.

To personalize your replies, we store the settings you choose: your persona, the topics you care about, the memories you add about yourself, and any custom instructions.

Information from your use of the product

When Tweetpilot drafts a reply, it processes the public post you are replying to, its thread context, and any attached images, so it can generate a relevant response. Generated replies and their status are saved to your account so you can review them.

If you connect an X account for follower analytics, we store follower records and periodic snapshots so the dashboard can show how your audience changes over time.

The browser-session model

The Tweetpilot extension works inside the browser session you are already signed into on X. It never asks for, sees, or stores your X password. It does not log into your account from a server and does not act through the X API on your behalf.

Connecting your X account

Connecting an X account for analytics uses X's official OAuth with read-only access. The access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and you can disconnect the account at any time, which removes those tokens.

AI processing

Replies are generated using a third-party AI provider. The post content and the context described above are sent to that provider to produce a draft. We do not sell your data.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Tweetpilot, including a cloud hosting and analytics platform and an AI model provider. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service.

Cookies and local storage

The website stores your theme preference in your browser. The extension stores your sign-in token and settings in the browser's extension storage. We use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand how the website is used.

Data retention and your choices

You can edit or delete your generated replies, disconnect connected accounts, and update your settings at any time from the dashboard.

To delete your account and the data associated with it, contact us at legal@tweetpilot.co.

Children

Tweetpilot is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will change the date shown at the top of this page.
